Our Founding Imperative

War remains a major challenge confronting Africa. In direct response, Peace Tower of Africa (PTA) was established to create critical platforms that promote peace among nations. We serve as a strategic vehicle for advancing socio-economic development, national integration, and global economic partnerships - with focused impact in Ghana, across Africa, and worldwide.

Core Initiative: The African Living Legends Festival & Awards

PTA designed this flagship event to honor exceptional individuals and organizations recognized globally as living legends for their positive impact. Awardees are tasked with supporting PTA's mission: stopping youth-perpetrated electoral violence and driving community development in Ghana and beyond.

Proven Track Record in Peacebuilding

2012

Deployed 46 volunteers across 7 regions of Ghana to monitor and mitigate violence during general elections.

2013

Mobilized former President J. Mahama and senior citizens through the ALLFA Awards to accept the Supreme Court's verdict on the contested election petition.

2014

Convened the full assembly of Western Regional Paramount Chiefs, regional ministers, and deputies to champion peace as a catalyst for investment.

2015

Launched campaigns against road accidents and pioneered "Females into Commercial Driving" training in Takoradi.

2016

Executed multi-region Peace Campaigns (Western, Eastern, Ashanti, Greater Accra) targeting schools, churches, mosques, and media houses, with advocate Nana Adwoa Amos leading education on eradicating FGM and electoral violence.

Founded by Tawia Nkrumah Hemans (Peace Icon) and collaborating with UAB New Live Christian Center and Global Trade Network Int., PTA drives awareness through awards, sports, seminars, fundraising, and interfaith peace walks.

Leveraging Ghana's globally recognized tradition of peaceful conflict resolution through dialogue, the Peace Tower of Africa and its strategic affiliates announce the establishment of the Africa Peace Tower in Ghana.

This landmark institution is a visionary initiative spearheaded by His Eminence Tawia Nkrumah Hemans, in collaboration with Global Trade Network International (GTNI) and Hemans Event and Media Consult.

Distinguished awardees of the African Living Legends Festival and Awards will be elevated to the Board of Patrons of the Peace Tower of Africa. Biography of Jacqueline D. Carmon

Jacqueline D. Carmon, also known as Haala Kuoro Hawiise I, is a trailblazing entrepreneur, business consultant, and humanitarian. Born and raised in Washington, DC, Jacqueline has always been driven to succeed.

Education and Early Career

Jacqueline earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. She then pursued her Master's in Counseling at Freed Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee. Currently, she is working towards her PhD at Walden University.

Business Ventures

In 2007, Jacqueline made history by becoming the first woman to own an International Basketball League (IBL) team, the "Hub City Hurricanes" in Jackson, Tennessee. This achievement expanded the IBL into new regions and solidified her position as a pioneering businesswoman.

In addition to her work in sports management, Jacqueline is the CEO and owner of Jaloore Enterprises, Int'l (JEI), a full-service company providing expertise in marketing, public relations, management services, business consulting, investment consulting, business development, credit restoration, and humanitarian projects.

Jacqueline is dedicated to giving back to her community. She is the founder of a certifying organization authorized to present the President's Service Award and has worked with organizations to revitalize school art and music programs.
